My name is Nikolina Baškarad.
I have a deep passion for theater, books, and storytelling.
I graduated in acting from the Academy of Dramatic Arts at the University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. My experience was enriched by working as part of the team at "Teatar Kabaret Tuzla" in 2002. From 2004 to 2015, I worked as an actress at the National Theatre in Tuzla.
After moving to Croatia in 2015, I was introduced to cultural tourism. I enriched my experience in tourism by working in Pula with "Istra Inspirit," a globally renowned association in the field of cultural tourism. This collaboration forever changed the course of my life. In Osijek, I continued my work with the Croatian Society for Cultural Tourism – CroCulTour, as the director of the performance section of the program. During this time, I also collaborated with the Rural Tourism Association Đola in Darda, where I later worked on the RuralArt project from 2021 to 2023 as the project manager and director of the children's drama studio Đolićarci. Working with and for children is what makes me truly happy, which inspired me to enroll in a specialized program in Drama Pedagogy at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb. I am also a member of the Croatian Center for Drama Education.
Inspired by the knowledge I gained, in 2023 I founded ReActor, a business focused on culture, promotion, and tourism, where I brought together all my passions. The business offers several storytelling interpretive tours, which I envision and perform as immersive, site-specific performances. I am a licensed tour guide and heritage interpreter, certified by the European organization Interpret Europe.
